Alderwood Assisted Living is proud to host its 3rd Annual ‘Quiltopia’ Community Quilt Show and Open House on Saturday, April 26, 2025, inviting quilt lovers and community members alike to celebrate the timeless art of quilting. From 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM, guests are welcome to stroll through stunning displays and enjoy a day filled with creativity, history, and heartfelt stories.
This beloved event features hundreds of hand-crafted quilts, lovingly shared by Alderwood residents, their families, and local quilting enthusiasts. Each piece is a testament to skill, tradition, and personal legacy—woven together to tell a deeper story.
We’re also honored to welcome back Julie Silber, esteemed quilt expert and author from the San Francisco Bay Area, who will be presenting a curated selection of remarkable quilts and sharing her expert insights and fascinating stories that celebrate the art and evolution of quilting.
Guests will enjoy a delicious lunch and refreshments, thoughtfully prepared by Alderwood’s culinary team, as they soak in the delightful atmosphere.
The residents and staff of Alderwood Assisted Living are excited to open their doors once again for this fun community tradition.
